Maintenance of portable Dräger gas detection equipment by means of the Dräger X-dock

The participants will learn all essential actions and checks that are required in order to perform maintenance in a safe and reliable manner on portable Dräger gas detection equipment of the X-am and Pac series with the use of the automatic test and calibration station Dräger X-dock.
This training is intended for persons that are responsible for the performance of first-level maintenance on gas detection equipment of the Dräger X-am 2000, X-am 5000, X-am 8000 series as well as the Dräger Pac series. The maintenance is performed with the use of the Dräger X-dock.
Theory:
- The various sensors (catalytic sensors, infrared sensors, etc.)
- Alarm values
- Sensor poisoning
- Reaction speed of the gas sensor
- Cross sensitivity of gases
- Design and basic function of X-am 2000/2500, X-am 5500/5600, X-am 8000 and Pac series gas detection equipment
- Design and function of the X-dock
Practice:
- Adjustment and replacement of components
- Performance of calibration and bump testing

“MBO” (intermediate vocational education) level, electro-technical background is an advantage
Gas measurement training Ex-Ox-Tox in accordance with SOG qualifications or equivalent is an advantage

We work with a limited group size in order to achieve a teaching efficiency that is as high as possible and furthermore to have a sufficient amount of personal attention for the individual participants.
The participants of this training course will receive a certificate with a period of validity of 5 years.
The frequency for the following of a refresher course has been set to once every 5 years. The participant will be invited in a timely fashion for a refresher course.
