We offer you a unique concept for service and deliveries on FRS equipment. Our Total Care Service portfolio will cover all your needs for mandatory Firefighting, Rescue and Safety maintenance on board of your vessels.
Our portfolio covers the following services:
Several regulations require to have Medical Oxygen onboard your vessel, in order to provide first aid casualties. When an emergency or sudden illness occurs, administering medical oxygen can be decisive in saving lives. especially with the current pandemic situation and the related uncertainties. Currently, Dräger Marine & Offshore is the only company which can and may refill medical oxygen cylinders. And it can be performed directly on site.
Dräger Marine & Offshore is an authorized service company which fulfils all required procedures to be allowed to refill medical oxygen cylinders at intervals not exceeding three (3) years. The performed service actions in relation to refill of medical oxygen cylinders are carried out under Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), with certified medical oxygen. All refills with medical oxygen will monitored and approved by a registered pharmacist.
Refills will take place under the regulation as described in the MFAG (Medical First Aid Guide) and the information provided in the IMDG Code (International Maritime Dangerous Goods Code), the IMSBC Code (International Maritime Solid Bulk Cargoes), the EmS (Emergency Procedures for Ships Carrying Dangerous Goods), IBC Code (Ships Carrying Dangerous Chemicals in Bulk) and IGC Code (Ships Carrying Liquefied Gases in Bulk).
One of the strict demands to refill an oxygen cylinder with Medical Oxygen according to the above procedures, the GMP and International MFAG regulations is the following; Each Medical Oxygen Cylinder needs to be fitted with a Residual Pressure Valve (RPV). If an RPV is not available or desirable for your oxygen cylinder we cannot refill your oxygen cylinder in full compliance with the above procedures and under the auspices of the approved pharmacist. We can still refill your oxygen cylinder, but the inspection certificate will mention: Oxygen instead of Medical Oxygen.
Our highly skilled service technicians are always there! We have a rolling and continuous working schedule. Whenever you visit our ports, our organisation is standing by to support you. Our technicians are available 24/7. We know that delays in service can result in additional costs - we understand 'time is money' in the marine world.
Our field service engineers are fully equipped to help you on site. Trained, skilled and ready to service all portable fire fighting equipment, fixed fire suppression, smoke detection and gas detection systems. These services will be carried out onboard wherever possible. If equipment requires repair, refilling, hydrostatic pressure testing or if computerized diagnostic equipment is required we will transport the equipment to our workshop. Of course we will provide adequate exchange equipment wherever possible to ensure the safety onboard during the service period.
A 10 ft or 15 ft Offshore workshop is forwarded to the FRS rig team. It contains tools, equipment and spare parts.
All service can also be performed offshore.
All serviced equipment is barcoded and is transferred to the ERP system from which the certificates are produced on an itemized basis.
Because of our ERP system we are prepared to replace, repair or service the equipment that is on board.
This all in one visit, one logistical flow and by using one point of contact for our customers.
Our workshops meet the highest standards in the business. We are used to achieving conformity with all industrial and marine standards - ISO 9001:2000 certification is our benchmark. Our workshop technicians use modern technology to test, refill and repair your FRS equipment. You can be confident that this equipment is properly maintained, calibrated and certified where required. Modern diagnostic equipment ensures rapid and reliable elimination of all malfunctions in safety equipment. Certified calibration and test gases make the service on your gas detection equipment both traceable and auditable.
We understand that your time is valuable. Therefore we do our utmost to ensure that the landed equipment is returned to the vessel without delay!
In understanding the high standards required for the marine arena be confident that we only use original spare parts during service. We stock a wide range of parts for the FRS products most commonly used onboard of global, commercial marine vessels. This goes for both Dräger and non-Dräger equipment; from fire extinguishers to self contained breathing apparatus; from portable gas detectors to lifejackets. This helps to ensure that you can continue to operate without delay.
In the unlikely event that a service and/or repair item is not in stock, our warehouse guarantees quick delivery of replacement products. This same warehouse is also available 24/7 for our technicians so that possible delays are minimised.
When we service FRS equipment we ensure that the equipment is tested according to the manufacturer's requirements and appropriate regulations. By issuing a certificate which lists all tested equipment, the performed service and the results of the tests we take full responsibility that the equipment has been inspected according to the appropriate regulation and is safe to use in the tough marine conditions.
We are in close contact with all major classification organisations. If our service requires a Class witness we will contact the relevant Class surveyor and invite them to attend and verify the inspection.
